Such alloys generally have the characteristics of high electrical resistivity, good oxidation resistance, high high temperature strength and good cold forming performance. Mainly used to make various electric heating elements and general industrial resistance elements that work in the temperature range of 950 to 1400 degrees. Compared with the nickel-chromium series, it has higher resistivity, good high-temperature oxidation resistance, and the price is relatively cheap, but it is more brittle after high-temperature use.
0Cr23Al5(Х23Ю5) after many years of production, the process is stable, and the performance indicators can meet the application requirements.

Protective measures against corrosion of furnace atmosphere
1) Put the processed workpiece into a heat-resistant steel sealed tank to isolate the electric heating element from the atmosphere;
2) Install the electric heating element in the heat-resistant steel radiant tube to separate it from the atmosphere in the furnace;
3) Before use, heat the heating element in the air to a temperature lower than the maximum use temperature of 100-200 degrees for oxidation treatment for 7 to 10 hours to form a dense oxide film protective layer on the surface of the element. In the future, the above operation should be repeated regularly for re-oxidation treatment.
4) FeCrAl strips should be used for carburizing atmosphere treatment, and anti-carburizing coatings can also be coated on the surface of the strips, powered by low voltage and high current, and carbon deposits should be burned out in the air regularly.
